Well that's just great news. What's your dealership's website? I want to see all the cars you have.

It's amazing how the '10 Rapide is $100k more than the new ones.
And I like how you guys put "5.9L" for the engine size, it's correct.

Aston made a concept of one (that was really ugly), but since they're not doing too good financially, I assume it's not coming out any time soon.

Please tell me they're stereotypically British. That would be so funny.

ugh, the dudes in parts are. Most things for Lotus and Aston we have to order from England and those dudes are super Bri-ish. Our regional rep is American. Only time we see the higher higher ups is when we have some tech issue. Last time those "stereotypical English" dudes came was when we had an issue with a Rapide. Both CEL codes were coming on and not clearing (2 ecm's and CEL for the 2 banks 'V12'") We replaced the ecu's, wiring harness, and injectors because that is what tech support told us to do. When that didn't work, they flew to our shop and found out the housing ported for the engine speed sensor (crank) was a bit too short. They called to stop production and inspect them.

Wow that sounds pretty major, seems like a sound reason for the ultra British people to show up. Did they end up changing/improving the crank?

Went to school across the lake from you at Michigan Tech in Houghton. I used to listen to a rock station out of Thunder Bay all the time since Houghton local radio was crap. Well, I would listen when it came in clear anyway.

They just ported the block a bit more on the the new engines to accept the crank sensor. That happened to us waaay more when I was a tech at Lexus. Toyota takes that stuff super seriously (Kaizen) . Also, when they fix something, they fix it lol. I had those little Japanese geniuses around cars I worked on a couple times. The last time was for an IS-F. They had just came out and I was the only one really working on them. I had a brand new one that came in that had got hot. The thermostat was looking all sorts of odd. I ordered one and my shop foreman said that to leave it torn apart until they arrive. They took lots of pictures and data. The translator told me that the detergent they used during production to wash the engines was not properly washed away when building that mighty motor. I put the car back together after they left and the part arrived (took) a week. My shop foreman told me to "Tank it and Spank it". Our phrase for fill up the tank and drive it like the owner would drive an IS-F. OKAY!! lol. Sounds all fun and cool but I only got paid a warranty time of 0.8 to replace the thermostat. That car took up my only bay for a week and a half restricting me from making better money that whole time. Just one example of many times those dudes came over at least came with me. In all occasions, I didn't get paid sheeeet :( That's why I was the only one that worked on the m. The slight auto enthusiasm I had bit me in the ass.
